i writes to me "apache service started" but its not put the running box there, and ofc the web now is not working.

I am also experiencing this problem, when i go to xampp control panel and click in run apache. It run normaly but when i go to localhost it is saying that the link is broken :S. Please someone help me!!
I am using xampp 1.7.1
