Wow that looks very nice, I just dislike the red magic book on the top left, and yes you should make a thread.
 
@up i think he intended the "magic flying book look" that happy potter has, it looks nice if you think that way, but in game it would be still and therefore look bad. If it moved up and down it would be nice.. & sparkled :D

i just downloaded the map editor..so i want to know how much i suck :p
 
cupix, look at hesten. peroxide, demon eldorath, etc Look at how they map.

In almost all cases avoid autoborder (use autoborder for mountains if you find it too long to do) and a few other things only.


On the map editor change to raw on the terrain/doodads/items selection thing, and map walls, grounds etc using that :)

Also take some tutorials located on the forum and you will improve greatly in a matter of time :)
 
What is this?, i only see grass and borders on black, dont see a druid shop.
 
@up: looks pretty good, is it really your first work?
tips: make the bridge smaller, and use some other cave ground types.
also bug on 1st pic ^ of hole.
