Any more astronomy/cosmology fans here?

Been studying alot about this subject lately as a hobby.
Thing is, I've been raised as a christian, but as far and deeper we're looking into the cosmos, the more we find out, the more we realise that there is no god.

Kinda sad, humanity always wanted something supportive they can hold on to, like life after death etc.
But if we look deeper and deeper into the universe, we realise that we are really nothing special.

Anyway, if you are a fan, I suggest you to watch this guy's youtube videos, he is really awesome!

I remember when I was 15-18 I though I was a smart ass. Knowing better than these silly religious people who believe in their Jesus. But once I took some Philosophy and Religion class in college I realized how stupid my train of though was. You live your life not knowing the teachings of Plato and Socrates and you end up being an atheist. but the reality is, there is a higher power because death is only a separation of body and soul. You soul will move on to the next dimension, wherever that will be.

A soul is what people in the middleages called the unexplainable.
Why do you think we got a "soul"? Does a bug have a soul? Does a tree got one?

There most likely are other dimensions, but how can a ghostly shade travel threw one?

The universe is really simple, matter gets created and matter gets destroyed.

That which is bold and italic, it's so wrong.
Matter cannot be created nor destroyed.

Matter can be created out of non-matter particles such as photons, or even out of pure energy, such as kinetic energy.

You are probably mistaken matter with mass or energy, both of these can not be created nor detroyed.

Astronomy is everything, in 300-1000 years people will believe in science and you're an outcast if you believe in christianity or any other religions.

I think you are quite wrong. And people do "believe" in science anyway, well, the christians do :p. After all, christianity got some major scientists...
