Banned IP for botting?

Hello, I was wondering if anybody here knows if you get caught botting and they ban you, do they just ban the account or your whole IP? Please don't respond if you're not a 100% sure. Thanks.

iirc the only time I was IP banned is when my level 7 bot character got banned for 30 days for the second time, must have lost 4 accounts or so before at low levels so they just wanted me gone.

If u are ip banned u can restart ur router and ur ip will change.
