You can't even quote visitor messages, so I don't really see the point of this unless you want to manually add quotes, but I've enabled it anyway because it looks like people agree with you. I'm not going to enable the size tag in visitor messages though. Visitor messages should be in the default size (or the size specified in customized profile).

Yay, when using [quote=postername;ID] the links to post with that ID instead of visitor message.
 
That's how vBulletin works then. I still don't see any point of this, so I'm not really going to put time into coding a plugin to fix that unless you can provide a good reason why you would need to quote eachother in a 1-to-1 conversation with short messages.
