Ok this isnt in the tutorials section but I think it should be. Many of us are either new or been off the scene for ages.
I am kind of in between. I ran OT once but never quite learned it so here goes.
(1) Servers - Do you need a particular server for different map versions, lets say for a 8.61 map?
If so why isn't there a thread explaining what server is used for which map types? This is confusing to beginners.
(2) Map Editors - RME comes with everything up to 8.60 but it says 8.60+ where do we find the stuff required to make my map for later versions?
I hope others chime in with beginner FAQ, I know I will find more to ask later and really appreciate help, I am willing to learn, just need direction. Anyone willing to be a tutor?
