Best domain service?

Heeyyyyyy! I was going to get my server going again, never got it online because I used the wrong domain service and I kinda just gave up (one.com) It has been a few years now and I have no clue what people use these days. I want to have my own domain like masiyah.se for an example, they can connect to the game server with ip changer with the same domain. What is the best service to use? Do you have the web server on their server or do you host it on your own computer and forward it to the domain? Thanks!

If you want to get a domain try godaddy.com, that's what I use atleast
