Hello I got no antivirus program on my PC right now.

So put all the best free antivirus program down here!

And put a link for download it too

Thx.

the best antivir as software does not exist, tho I recommend Avira, it's light and efficient :)

AFAIK you have to uninstall Avast in secure mode or w/e it's called in english version ;p

The best Anti-Virus is.... Linux, an OS that is extremely hard to catch a virus, I would recommend it to anyone!

Then test NOD32 on OwnTibia. It won't find anything. Kaspersky will.

Homebrew Keylogger would clearly fail to meet the definition of a Virus. That job lands squarely on the shoulders of the firewall. However I'm willing to put Eset SS4BE to the test, but was unable to procure an example of this particular trojan.

NOD32 is just an antivirus. Kaspersky consists of firewall too. That's why he'll disguise the virus.

The NOD32 label is applied to Smart Security 4 as well, so both Kasp and Eset have the options of 'dedicated anti-virus' or 'packaged security suite.' Regardless. I will admit that NOD32, Kaspersky, Sophos and Avira all have very good histories with 'Wild' test suites, but I'm a Eset fan boy.

Here's a few reasons why:

The acronym NOD stands for Nemocnica na Okraji Disku ("Hospital at the end of the disk"), a pun related to the Czechoslovakian medical drama series Nemocnice na okraji města (Hospital at the End of the City). <-- Bwahahaha.

"It has earned 60 VB100 awards by Virus Bulletin,[22] the highest amount earned by any of the tested anti-virus products.[23]" <-- I think this would qualify as the answer to the original question

"NOD32 is written largely in assembly code." <-- And this removes all doubt to the aforementioned.
