Haaaai!

So this is Blazing RPGs discussion thread.

Introduction.
This is a brand new project that will be a glory for the RPG lover and story driven people who takes the time to read all the quests and explore.
The map will be a Real Tibia map and then a custom made map which you can unlock with a chain quest and sail to.
The custom map will have its own story with its own story line / riddle quests and features.
The project managers are Elias (Zatjin) and Daniel (Kyoshiro).
We will try to make the best Real Map combines with a Custom map and run those two in too one big map.


The multiworld system.
You are going to be able to choose from a real map and a custom map server / map.
I believe the majority of OtLand.net is going to choose the custom map.

Just now we are deciding if we are going to have real tibia map or a custom one.

Real map= I leave and never look at this thread again----- Custom map= Awesomeness, I give ideas and discuss.

If it's a custom map, I'll give ideas, discuss, and help.... If not, I will leave this thread... xD

I think Real Map will attract more players, but then, you dont need ideas and suggestions cause it's REAL map.... All need to be real... xD

Do you have a good LUA scripter?
I know a bit and I can help on that topic... (LUA)

And I just spoke with the co-owner (Daniel aka Kyoshiro) and we have just decided to make a custom map as well as a real map server.

So we are going to have a real map world and a custom map world.
Sum up: You have 2 options when you create your character.

The options is standing by ; either choose the real map or the custom map.

You should make have a lot of unique commands

What sort of commands?

MAKE PEOPLE USE THEIR BRAINS FOR ONCE, please.. Most "custom" servers are just explore the map, find the chest, and get rewarded.. Make people use their brains with riddles but make the rewards worth the time.

Libraries with books and hints!
and hidden quests, like Boards with items under them , For example the one in rookgaard where you click a board on the ground and get a doublet

I can create a quest-line that needs some brains.

You have to go to the local libraries and get some hints and new leads.

Thoughts?

Yeah, make it like you gotta talk to several NPCs, go to libraries, and such to get all sorts of hints and clues to solve the big puzzle

Some spoilers for the audience.

1. Custom Monsters for specific quest.
2. Story driven quests.
3. Riddle driven quests.

These are just a few of the options we will have, all our quests will be story driven of course so when you finally get to play please make sure you remember who you talked to.
Also i will try to implement multi choice quests where it ends completely depending on how you answer the questions, no we are not talking about TRUE or FALSE quests, but about quests that can have up to 10 different endings depending on how you answer.

Couple of ideas.

Farming.

That you buy a farm and simply be a farmer.
I would then create a farmer or a baker that buys the crops you grow in exchange of food or money.

Exp boost.

That when you reach the desired level, you will get an experience boost.

Like this maybe:
8-20 20x
20-45 10x
45-65 5x
65-95 2.5x
95 - ??? 4x
The reason for the boost at the end levels, is aimed for the exploring in the server.
And therefore more plays because of the new content
