Bot for pc?

Is there a way i can do something then make my pc keep doing it? Like example. I click on a program open it, then close it. Can i make my pc repeat this process over and over and over somehow? Kind of like a bot for tibia, except for your pc? Sorry this isn't tibia related, but it is for tibia purposes!
