Really great shit, really :P

But i dislike that :

Graphic Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 1GB GDDR5

I should take a Gforce instead a Radeon, because I always used Nvidea.
You could also take a 2 TB hard disk for just like 20 more dollars which could be usefull.

Took some time, found a web PC store in new zealand, and came up with a build:

Pros: Upgrade friendly, decent performance
Cons: graphic card is a little weak, but will still handle most games decent, and can easily be upgraded later on.
(instead of trying to squeeze in a good graphic card now, lets just get something that works good, and then save up money for a better one later with a new budget).

case: 101$
http://www.alphacity.co.nz/index.ph...108601&zenid=a3b2a13bffca0d378447f0ee611bc202
(Decent case that contains a 500w power supply which is suitable for budget gaming).

motherboard: 130$
http://www.alphacity.co.nz/index.ph...111134&zenid=a3b2a13bffca0d378447f0ee611bc202
(decent motherboard that can handle DDR3 RAM with decent speed, compatible with RAM that originally have high speed (up to 2133Mhz), AM3 CPUs and dual GPU).

2x 8GB 1600Mhz RAM: 186$
http://www.alphacity.co.nz/index.ph...120883&zenid=a3b2a13bffca0d378447f0ee611bc202
(2 available RAM slots for future upgrades if you ever need to get 32GB).

8x 3.5Ghz CPU: 214$
http://www.alphacity.co.nz/index.ph...113871&zenid=a3b2a13bffca0d378447f0ee611bc202
(Will run like a beast for many years to come).

1Ghz GPU Radeon HD 7770: 151$
http://www.alphacity.co.nz/index.ph...116717&zenid=a3b2a13bffca0d378447f0ee611bc202
(This should be upgaded in a few years or when you acquire more money).

DVD reader + burner: 30$
http://www.alphacity.co.nz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=49_50&products_id=85080
(Stick with this unless you want a blueray reader/burner in future)

500GB SATA 7200rpm disk: 70$
http://www.alphacity.co.nz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=39_386_42&products_id=75432
(Should get an SSD later if you want good loading times later for OS)

Yep, if he can order from amazon that is a good improvement on my build. :) I tried to keep to stores in new zealand where peroxide lives, thus things got a bit more expensive.

In Norway, we are not allowed to buy electronics from amazon.com. (or well, we get a 50% tax on it).

Total: $882.74

@znote's post: nevermind he posted it here anyway :)

I should prefer 4x4 gb RAM instead of the 2x8gb RAM, because if 1 RAM card is failing, you will still have 12 gb RAM with the 4x4 and 'only' 8gb RAM with the 2x8gb cards.

I can ship from Amazon, although I'm not entirely sure about their shipping rates.
@Ninja, is Amazon displaying the total price you resulted with, is that USD or NZD?
If it's USD then I think I'm better off with the New Zealand sellers.
$837.93 USD = $987.821 NZD

It's in USD unfortunately, thought the result you posted on the previous page were in USD so I kept comparing the total cost. :p

Would probably end up with the same price result if all the components were the same.

You should invest more money on the GPU than the CPU...

I always buy from newegg.com, good prices, free shipping on most stuff, not sure if its world wide or just North America though.

You do not want to get an AMD CPU or GPU - the GPU's are known to constantly have issues with drivers. I can't give you a better configuration than what was already suggested, but I'd go with an NVIDIA GTX 660Ti and Intel Core i5-3570k. If you could wait until June the next generation of GPU's and CPU's will be available, and by then you may even have more money saved up. Another $350-$500 would nearly double the performance you'd get now. ;)

It's really hard to suggest a custom-build CPU if we don't know what you plan on doing with it.
If the highest graphic-intense process you're going to be using is Tibia, obviously you don't need some hugely, over-the-top insane graphics card. Which would allocate the rest of your money on stuff you'll care about (SSD/etc.)

So is it for hardcore gaming (would you purchase the newest BF/COD games or just those you mentioned?) or a computer that's going to be reliable and you won't need a new one for like 5-6 years?

Also, don't waste your money on an OS disc. If you have a legitimate key for Windows 7 (like you'd get if you bought ANY pre-made PC) just use the key from the old PC so you don't spend hundreds of dollars on an OS and still are using one you paid for.

Red

I take it the Product-ID is the key for the OS (listed under my computer > properties)?

No, if 1 RAM card is failing, you get a refund/new one. There is a warranty.
Going 4x means more expensive future upgrades.

No, A GPU is easily replaced, replacing CPU is messy because you have to take care of terminal paste, and is easier to screw up. get a strong CPU, upgrade the GPU later. 8x 3.5+Ghz CPU is plenty.

What bullshit? I have been going all out AMD since 2009, and now I am also running my GPUs with crossfireX.
Never any issues with drivers. Its not that hard to download the latest drivers from the website. (This is mandatory, always do this after getting a GPU, regardless of the vendor, Nvidia or ATI).

Also, keep it budget wise.

Cheers for the help guys, I just bought the Thermaltake V3 Black CASE W/500W&USB3.
Step one, check.

I just upgraded my computer some and wanted to show what I bought:
