Yeah I suggested this a few months back, they said it may be implemented in vB4, so I guess their gonna.

I like the current way of "bumping" threads.

I believe this new "bumping" system you are suggesting would be the same as otservlist.org servers blogs.
 
Threads are supposed to be sorted after last post date and not last bump, and that is how it will stay. We don't want you to say bump 24/7, if you have to maybe you should think twice before bumping your thread. Does anyone really want to view your thread, or for what other reason do you have to keep bumping your thread? Because if the content of your thread is interesting, it will automatically be bumped when someone responds. If not, the thread should be left to die and that's how it should work.
 
o.0 I agree with your bump button idea, thread makers spam their threads with bumps every 2 hours(prolly to get posts up) atm a bump button would help
 
Agreed with Talaturen, I mean people would just some every 24 hours to bump there thread... At least mods can take care of unnecessary bumping of old threads, when they see it, or someone reports it.
 
The current system is how things should be. Want to bump your thread to try and get more views/comments? Then sacrifice your dignity o.o
