Mapper Camual project searching for mapper

Well, I'm going to continue my project "Camual". This project was based on Diablo II story. But sadly this, was a bad idea. Now I've decided to make the story not that much based on Diablo II game-play, but however there will still be a lot of features that Camual had before...

What does Camual have at the momment?
It is full sound based project, every item and creature can be heard by your ear.
Theres no color change ability - colors can be changed by equiping items. Same goes with addons. -- There is a possibility that I will remove this feature.
All spells and the spell system are custom, no "Cipsoft" spells.
Our client is using more than 2500 custom sprites. Mapper will also have to use custom sprites.
Of course there is much more. If you're planning to work on the project, I will show you all features live in game.

What will mapper have to do?
Well, you must to be creative. To make it short, your job will be to create the world. And about your mapping skills- you will be accepted or rejected by View Profile: daadyboy5 - OtLand

Looks like an amazing project, i think i played this a bit before and was soo much fun :)
too bad i'm not that great in mapping and not the time to get back into it ,

if i ever get the time and u need maybe storywriter i'll surely aplly (maybe also for the mapping position if i get some practice again :p)

Will the mapper get to use the custom sprites or will they be added later on (by someone else) ?

Yes mapper will have to use our project custom sprites while maping, however ofcourse this isint must if you think it won't be usefull. You should notice some of custom sprites is used already by daadyboy5 check his mapping show-off thread.
 
Im not so very good, but if you dont find anyone else, can I map. But i'm going away later today for a week...
 
i'm sorry man boob but i'm afraid they're looking for someone a bit more experienced as u, keep working and u'll get there ^^
 
I might apply, I wonder if there are any other decent mappers who might want to apply, because imo working on a map with just 2 people get's boring really fast. working with more mappers inspire me to work harder.

i was initially going to be helping with the map with this project but never got round to do it and left. I keep wanting to reapply but im busy as it is ;/ I really think you should join it, because if there are some more known mappers involved it will seem more "appealing" to others i guess.

At the moment yea we only have 1 dedicated mapper :(, however we do have me and Erikas who can both script literally anything into the maps..
I'm not sure what projects you've been in.. But if your also inspired by having insane quests everywhere you might want to check this out.

What i mean by quests:
Example of Normal quest: find a book in a bookshelf at a spawn, describes a murder that happened in the smith's house and how the knife was hidden in the floorboards under the night-stand of the top floor bedroom.... inside the spawn (bandit spawn with houses), you have to find the house labeled 'smith' move the nightstand and use the floor to get the weapon

Example of something inside a quest house: I've made pushable steps (you 'use' the steps and you can push them around so you can get to the higher floor), i've made a lever that spawns a bridge on a timer to despawn
