Can get in to character list but can not connect to game server? HELP!?

Im right now fixing my own ots.

I have started the server, fixed an SQL databas and everything. I have scanned Lua 100 times and i cant find an error.
I can log in to the character list and i have an acc manager and ihave fixed a character myself on the phpAdmin thing.
Why cant i log in to the game server? What am i doing wrong?
How can i fix it?

Ports not opened.

You have to open your ports in your router with your IPv4 adres, use your global ip in your config.lua (ip from What Is My IP - Shows Your IP Address) and be sure you have the ports in your config.lua like this:

	loginProtocolPort = 7171
	gameProtocolPort = 7172
	adminProtocolPort = 7171
	statusProtocolPort = 7171

As Limos and Vendeliko said you need to open your ports 7171 and 7172, to see if they are open goto Open Port Check Tool and it'll tell you whether they are open or not.

im having the same problem, i used the suggested website to check my ports and they are all open =/

Success: I can see your service on 92.5.116.190 on port (7172)
Your ISP is not blocking port 7172
