Can i use 7.6 monsters in 8.6

would it be okay to put a 7.6 monster into the 8.6 monster folder. my brother made a 7.6 a long time ago and instead of making the monsters again in 8.6 could i drag and drop the monsters from 7.6 to my 8.6 server thanks

They could have different syntaxes, but it should be fairly easy for you to transform. Post an example from and 7.6 and 8.6, and let's see.

It wont work, since your 7.6 monsters are from very old distro and on 8.6 there is no thing like - instant spell(it's 'fire/ice/melee/physical' etc. instead), cycleticks(it's 'interval'), mindamage/maxdamage(it's 'min/max'), blood color, effect, splash, level of the monster and mlvl, and of course there is no flags which are in 8.6 and up. Basically it differs too much from newer distros, so you need to remake all monsters to make them work.
