cannot load monster

Is the name in monster.xml and pirato.xml correct?, is the path correct in monsters.xml? is the name in monsters.xml and the name in pirato.xml correct like Capital P for example?

is wrong case or directory that your monsters.xml is declared... check the names of monsters, CASE sensitive and the directory.
