Cant connecto to my own OT

Hello, first of all english is not my main language so i hope you guys can understand me.
I used to have an Open tibia server some years ago. I tried to open one yesterday just for the fun of it. I downloaded a server, i open my ports, i disabled the firewall and the antivirus, and i still cant connect.
I know my ports are open, becouse i checked them online, the 7171 and 7172.
I can connect if i use the 127.0.0.1 addres, even tho in the config.lua i put my no-ip adress to connect. If i try to use the no-ip address, i have an error 10061 or something like that in the tibia client, that means the server is not online.
Again, i know the ports are open, and i could put my server in an web page, so it looks like its online, even tho i cant connect myself.
What could be the problem? Thanks in advance

127.0.0.1 is your local ip, I don't think no-ip works for this address.
If your server is for people to play on then use a global ip rather than 127.0.0.1
If it's for your own needs such as testing scripts/maps then use 127.0.0.1 or localhost in your config.lua

i think when someone use his no-ip site .. he open ports with his global-ip or whatismyip
but he may use 127.0.0.1 too

i know that, i had a server before. What i meant was that i could only connect to my server using my local ip: 127.0.0.1. But not my no-ip addres, in the config lua i used my no-ip addres, and the no-ip address uses my global ip not my local ip..

Try putting a numerical global ip in your config.lua instead of the no-ip then.

I have the no-ip (DUC) and works fine, again ports are open and working, and i tried putting the numerical global ip with the same results as the no-ip address. I dont know where is the problem :s

Edit- I also could register the server in otservlist with no problem
