Can't start server

Okay, so I downloaded an 8.6 server from this website..And after I made the database and such...I can't start the server..It says "The forgotten server has stopped working" and the only thing I can do is close..I really want a 8.6 server..Already tried re-doing it...And I made an 8.7 server, thats working..

Then the data folder is probebly not compatible with 8.6

Try adding one script at the time and remember to use the right item files (8.6)

Ehm, but i downloaded it from someone...Like many people did that...Could you send me an 8.6 without scripts, only the server and dll's

Start that one

Then you take the data pack you want to use and add one script at the time until you reach the one which is crashing the server and just skip it or fix it.

But..I didn't add any scripts...I downloaded...Made a database, and started.

Ye but the folder you downloaded contains all the scripts...

TAKE THOSE SCripts

And ADD one by one to the new server you downloaded (8.6 one)

That is a clean server with just the basic scripts.


use that

Learn what a script is by surfing this forum (No one will tell you that since it is not hard to find)

Then migrate the data pack you want to use to the clean server

Dude, I know how to make a server... As I wrote, i made an 8.7 and it's working..But this 8.6 isn't..Could you just tell me what to remove/do..Would be alot easier

Yes, you told me to remove the scripts and add them 1 by one..But I don't know what the scripts are...Should I just remove every file in data? or what?

Actions, Movement, Creatureevent, Globalevent etc etc
You need to keep the basic ones tho and only add the ones that are needed for the custom features on the map itself

Dude, I just noticed..I tried starting server before making an database..And it worked..Then I made the database and such..Still worked..But when I restarted...It started to crash again..It's not the scripts..
