Solved Character list won't open

Server open, no errors but when entering account and password it says it's loading character list but then that window will close and nothing happens, I am able to enter account and password once again.
Any advice is appreciated.

But you can access the server? Make sure you have both 7171 and 7172 ports opened and forwarded.

You need to forward 7171 and 7172 ports into your Router and Windows Firewall, also be sure that you're adding the numerical IP into your config.lua. whatsmyip.com

LOL how silly of me forgetting such simple things, I had forgotten to change the ip on the lua after transfering to dedicated.
