Windows Choosing the appropiate VPS or DS for a private server

Hello everyone

I want to get work a private server for 500-600 players but I don't know how much Ram/Bandwidth it consumes.

Does anyone could tell me roughly how much RAM and bandwidth I need?

I was looking for vps providers in Europe and strato looks good but I'm not sure because I didt use it ever. Anyone has good experiences with they or know a good provider?

The idea is to have a fluid experience in game. Thank you all!

It depends on how big is the map.

Hello my map is 5000x5000 whats the minimum requirements for this? i want 100 to 300 players how much ram, bandwith etc..

Hello Bogart, thanks for the reply. The map file size is 92.6MB and the tiles 36000x36000 (approximately).

4gb ram is minimum for real map, but it may cause freeze on save. If you have stable server you can use global server save

Finally we get it working with this installation

Processor: Intel i7
Frequency: 4x 2(HT)x 2.66+ GHz
Architechture: 64 bits
NIC: GigaEthernet
RAM: 24 GB

The server is using 5GB RAM without players with the map 36000x36000
