It's true, Tibia is dyng Not because of updates, is because it getting bored
But they know that tibia never be forgotten by old players, they will play again =/

the player they wanted to spend but their richness and so the next update would sell tibia money
and of course to draw more attention to the noobs

Because thats like the only things that is impossible. For as long as a client can connect at all, so can a bot. People have tried to fight it for 20 years...
 
I'm tired of saying it: Cip will eventually allow botting...but only with a licensed subscription of their Official CipSoft Bot.

It's no fact they would allow botting, Botting is not playing the game, it's cheating advantages.
Bot can be compared to a crime there you abuse an exp bug in a server..
as I said somewhere.. Botters are not "Players".

Botters are not players, they don't play Tibia at all.
 
Thats true but i think that theres more than 1k-2k "True Players" in OTS.
Ofc theres more botters but now lets think:

Tibia is a Online MMORPG game made by CipSoft.
OTS are a edited version of Tibia RL, that dont have owners with big teams like Tibia haves CipSoft.
Yes theres alot of anti-botting scripts in everywhere, but do they really work?
Well rarely any of the anti-bot scripts that works 100% fine to punish botters on OTS.

Actually, Lava Titan is right, there's almost 3k servers of OTS, most with their own gameplay, while CipSoft got almost 80 servers with the same old gameplay.
In addition to OTS, you don't need to use vast amount of time to become a 'high-level'.
I strongly believe that it isn't the updates wich keeps players from quitting, since I see the old-school players still playing the original Tibia.
The updates are aimed more and more for neutral players 'cause they are abused by the top-leading guild, it's a fact that the majority of players are neutral ones and not warmongers.
Just look how many players there are on Optional, how few there are on Open and almost to none in Hardcore, that by itself should be self-explanatory.

Personally, I like most of the updates, but there's always one point in every update that I disagree with, but it's impossible to satisfy everyone.
All of you PvP lovers, including me, will love the next update with the war system, you wouldn't believe how great it will become.
But I'm pretty much done with Tibia, not because of the updates, but because there's so little do there and I get very quickly bored of it.
I loved Tibia before, but that was because I didn't know a drop of what I could expect and there was always rumours about this and that, but now, I know it in and out, as they say, like my own back pocket.
I just don't have the patient to wait for Tibia to shine and glow; they have so small staff and because of that, the progress is pretty much dead-slow.
In every update, I've used about 3-7 days to explore and find out about everything, that's about 3-7 days of fun every year or so (and no, I don't check spoilers either).

yeah for sure, if cipsoft will die, then new sprites will die, ppl wont make new good looking sprites for free, ofc cip dont make them too for free but with newest update we are using them, like a pc pirate use hes game copys.
But finding a healthy reason why tibia is loosing their players is simple. Same old shit, same gameplay, same quest, same evrything. They just fix some problems there, makes new ones in another place. We have to remember that still many rl tibia players are free account and here is next a players hole, they dont make any new area for free account players what brings them to use bot in way to buy pacc for tibia cash, cause not many ppl want to pay stupid monthly fee, for example for polish players its alot to spend 30 PLN monthly for one booring game, but for example in germany its cheap as water. So we got next one reason why tibia is loosing players an ECONOMY of pacc what, trust me don't exist

I dont think so , i think most of tibia rl players will go and find a decent low exp rl map server and play on, generally they will change their play destination to ots leading to the increase in number ot ot players.
 
I believe that already it is time that the community of ot land his own client of tibia does, since you change things of current tibia they were invented here already we do not need from these fools
