You can use OTClient and never worry again about finding a Linux client for the right protocol, you can just download the Windows client and extract tibia.spr/dat to the protocol folder.

You'll find Linux releases here: https://github.com/edubart/otclient

However, it's optimal to compile the source code, since releases aren't coming out for a long time, specially the Linux build on the front page, if you use Arch Linux, there is also an AUR package that you can get using "yaourt -S otclient-git", but i don't know how updated it is.

OTClient doesn'r support the new animationsystem properly so i would highly recommend NOT using 10.57+ with OTC

the aur package was removed from the AUR but the instructions is in edubard github https://github.com/edubart/archlibs/tree/master/linux64/otclient-git

Didn't knew that... What is new about the animation system? I'm out of OT and Tibia for a long time, so if you can update me i would be grateful.
Sure, basically they've split outfits into 2 framegroups, there used to be just one where animation frame 1 was just stsnding still and you had 4 frames all in all. Now there are one group for Idle and one for Walking where there are 8 frames instead of 4, for smoother animations, that's the basic idea and therefor the movement in OTC looks laggy and broken
