Collz Mapping Thread

Well, nope that's the first time I saw his mapping. I did that on my own. Plus I had that part finished before he posted his picture on the forums.

I posted it after him, but that part of the map was finished before the 28th. I had that part finished when I posted the first 2 images, but it really doesn't matter anyway.
 
It looks really good, I readed the whole topic & I like almost every picture. However I also liked the frozen mud on the second floor (at your recent map) more than wooden floors.

Also, the 'future' inspired me to a new map I'll map myself. :D

Overall, looks really nice. I don't get why there's some people disliking it without telling why. Mehh, jealousy isn't that good. ;s

Alright, well I haven't updated this thread in a while so I'll post a work in progress. I just started it like 20 minutes ago but its 4:30 am and im tired >.<. Anyway here is the outcome so far.

I just realized the poison doesn't look right like that so I'm going to change it to lava.

4 ground mixtures on that little spot... looks crappy.
Also.. why the hell stack stones on top of eachother?... they are good sprites as they are... no need to ruin them.
this piece has potientiall, altho not if you keep working in this current style.
 
First of all, PLEASE before printing a screenshot, press CTRL+mouse3. Just to get the right zoomout.

For me nothing happens when pressing ctrl+middlemousebutton :o
@Collz I dont like the white mountain thing to south of gates, looks good north of the gate. Else its nice
 
Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm fixing it up, using less ground and going to try to fix the borders. The top ground is nearly done, I just need to work on the lower floors now.
