Linux Compiling TFS 1.0 under ubuntu 10.04 (lucid)

Hi,
I have a VPS which I adquiered some time ago. I've tried to compile tfs 1.0 but I can't do it as my ubuntu version is too old 10.04 - lucid).

I've also been looking for some backports but I can't get them to work. The real problem is I can't install the new versions of programs/libraries like cmake or lua and, also, there's no way I can upgrade the ubuntu version.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get it working?

You cant compile TFS in OSs that old, it simply will not work because you dont have the required libs/includes.

Your best bet is to upgrade to something like Debian 7 (or ubuntu 13)
