Solved Compiling with Visual Studio

Hello otlanders,
I want this to be straight to the point and cut it short,
So my problem as the title says that I need help compiling sources with visual studio 2010
I can open up .cpp files with it and edit them but what happens next? What do I do to implement the new .cpp file to the .exe file?
I'm new to programming and I'm trying to learn basic things.

I searched for something like this and found it but couldn't continue to step 5 because I can't even open the file which is in Step 4.Download and unpack https://www.sendspace.com/file/fz1o43 those are additional libs to compile otserv(boost etc).

EDIT: Never mind I think the file I downloaded was broken, re-downloading again.

EDIT: The link you gave me, is not what I need, im using visual studio 2010
