Didn't follow my advice?
Faster, cheaper, and quieter HDD: Newegg.com - SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Higher quality, quieter PSU: Newegg.com - CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 CMPSU-430CX 430W ATX12V Active PFC Power Supply

16GB? I'm not sure the mobo you chose can run 4x4GB @1600 anyway. Maybe not even 1333.
And an X6 1090T!? You get an i7 (X58 or P55) for less. Rather go with the 1055T.

Do you pay the bill yourself?
It's not meant for servers but if you have to, k

LOL dude take a look at tiger direct, here is a link for that 1TB HDD you are about to buy!
Link:
Western Digital WD10EARS Caviar Green Hard Drive - 1TB, 3.5, SATA 3G, 64MB Cache, GreenPower at TigerDirect.com
you can also try Sea Gate:

find your mother board here:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...Id=4296&name=&Nav=|c:13|m:107|&Sort=0&Recs=10
check for power supply here:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...p?CatId=1483&name=600-Watt-Plus-Power-Supply&
RAM Here!:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...h.asp?CatId=10&sel=Detail;30_1226_59389_59389
the CPU in newegg is $5 cheaper than Tiger Direct.
But here's the link if you want to browse around:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_tlc.asp?CatId=22
here's something nice for the "Cooling System":
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4387079&csid=_25
with the money you save on tiger direct you might get your hands on one of these Thermaltake case:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4197077&Sku=T925-1278
But for that case you will need a 1200+watt power supply

You guys are completely retarded, he clearly said he needs it for hosting, I guess he will host OTS. Do you guys know what does it mean? It does mean he can use much cheaper HDD, something about 120 or 250 GB would be fine. Also 8 GB RAM would be enough too. CPU? Hmm, for hosting an OTS 2x 2.6 - 3.0 will be fine. He doesn't some extra-uber-powered cooler, HDD works fine without cooling, CPU works nice with some radiator + fan 3k RPM~. Well, it's only my thought but I know what I'm talking about, because OTS doesn't need so uber-computers + even if you will have 16 GB+ of RAM, single server, www and mysql won't be able to waste so much resources :p. Alsooo for hosting he doesn't any GPU, it's fine to connect other GPU to setup everything, then just take it off and manage server remotely.

@Shinmaru:
1250W? C'mon, he would pay shitloads for energy.

Yeah of course I'm retarded

I'm not really into the software side of things, so I don't really know what's best suited for servers. But the difference of cash between F3 and the cheaper HDD's is so low it doesn't really make up for the performance (and size) loss. The F3 is also very quiet unlike older HDDs with old technology. Probably more energy efficient aswell.

I don't see any need for an aftermarket cooler either.

About PSU's, get some quality PSU (if it's supposed to be a server running 24/7, better not get a shit psu) with 80+ certification. You won't need anymore than 200w for a server like that, but just to make things clear, a 1250w won't pull 1250w if it doesn't have to.

The 1250w power supply is only suggested, because of the computer case I showed him that has about 8 or more cooling fans so he would need a 1000w to 1250w power supply, to make sure he doesn't starve his computer when the server and all its accessories kick in, also noted!, servers do not consume much resources so no need to make it mighty and powerful, but we do not know his plans for the future, what if he wants to host 3 more servers on that same computer? I say better be prepared, heck he might even decide to become a Hoster if he wants to, since he will have a powerful enough computer to do so. Now about the cooling system, I only said it having in thought that he might one day plan to overclock the computer and we know that overclocking strains the CPU, truth be told he does not need it if he's not overclocking but that cooling system I showed does not cost too much ($79.96, which is not much net to other more expensive ones), also let's keep the bickering to a minimum we are here to help the guy, not confuse him with our opinions, so let's help the guy, if he wants a powerful computer then so be it, if he want to build an inexpensive minimum requirement computer then so be it, just help him if you are very knowledgeable about computer parts, like I've said I'm no pro, but I try to learn everyday.

that sounds like a good idea im really lost at what deciding to buy and i do like/wanna host in the future :> so the best system for the money is ideal!

Well you can't go wrong with a 1250w if you plan to make future improvements/additions for it, am I wrong? IMO if he has plans for the future he should go big.

For gods sake it's a server that probably won't even top at 200w. Why recommend components when you're so misled?

always i do plan upgrading...servers made lil less then 1100 in first 3 weeks donations wernt open first 2~ so upgrades always nice :D
