I want the client that you compiled cant connect into my server
otherwise candybot protection is just a joke

You could make some kind of handshake between OTClient and your Server.
But that means you need to configure that in the protocol yourself, which means editing the source code of both the server and client.
Or maybe you can just change the versions of both to a custom one. e.g. instead of using 10.73 you could use 1.0 and modify both server and client to deal with that custom version.

My best guess would be to look into the extended OPCodes

It is implemented in the latest TFS1.x source code, and in the OTClient.
To be honest I'm trying to figure out how to deal with this myself so I can't give you any guidelines on that one.

You can deal with an opcode in the source of both your server and client, and compile it.
Of course people would be able to see it, but the majority won't be able to.
