Official OTLAND.NET mumble server

What is mumble?
Mumble is a "voice communication program". Very similar to ventrilo and teamspeak.
You connect to the channel, and if you have a microphone you talk to people. Or you can use the mumble chat channel to write.

The latency on mumble is alot better than ventrilo, and it is open source. So it definitely rules and is best.

Lets getting started:
First, download mumble by clicking HERE. (Windows)
(Or click HERE for LINUX instructions).

Then, install it.
During the first run, you will be asked to configurate mumble. Remember to do so.
(This is because we want to optimize mumble to suit your microphone. To get the best quality of your voice).

After configuring your microphone, you get to world list.

A list showing all public servers. (server list).

otland.net is not a public server, so you need to click "Add New..."

You fill in the details:
Label: Otland Mumble
Address: otland.net
Port: 64738
Write your otland username or something as username there. This is optional. Actually, "label" is also optional. :p

Then click OK, and Connect to the Otland Mumble server! :D

Before getting into the channel, we need to write the password.

The password is: otland

And your in and good to go. Happy talking!

I will be online when I can. :) Hope to see you there too!

Hope to get some activity! ^.^

Bump for open-source.

@HeberPcL
Most Open-Source software are not know to people, even when they are good software most people do not know about it.

Example: Word Processor
Everyone knows about MS Office, but barely anyone knows about the equally good/better, IMO, software known as Libre Office and that's sad that people are oblivious to good open-source softwares.
Tsk* I guess when you have Propaganda, you will always win in the market. :/

Yep. Open source makes illegal things legal. Think about it, you don't have to crack it! :D (or buy it, but hey! Who does such things)?

Official o_O
wow, then tala should add a link with prgram link download and info about joining

Hah, the only con with mumble is that many are using ventrilo thus they are only familiar with ventrilo.
