Hi, i need help with this problem. I mounted a server on windows a few time ago and it ran perfectly. (tfs 0.35)
But after some time some players began to log out, but no one logged in. Then i realized that when anyone tried to log in, they got the "Connection refused" error after the char list, but there are no errors and the server is still online. I had to restart the server for them to log in again. The weird thing is that logging in from LAN when this happens works, and I can play perfectly.
(This happens with about 20-30 players online at the moment of the problem, and about 8 hours uptime)

Because of that (and some crashes) I changed to linux (same pc and internet connection), and it worked even better (no crashes at all). (and changed to tfs 0.4)
But the "Connection refused" error happened again after 12 hours of uptime, and I have no idea of what could be causing the problem. (May be it's coincidence, but this time i had 20-30 players again when it happened)

I really need help here because I changed the O.S. and version of the server but the problem continues, so I'm lost.

Please help

Thanks for replying. I suspected that the problema may be the computer or the connection, but yesterday the server had 36 people connected and nothing happened. And today in the morning there were 22 people connected and it happened again.
Anybody knows how can I confirm if the problem is the loss of database connection? or a problema with my internet connection?

Thank you.

I had this problem once, it was my internet connection, something with DNS which was a problem from my provider. It solved automaticly when my provider solved it. So you can check your internet connections or maybe it will be solved later.

Edit: Btw it is also possible that your modem isn't working good anymore. When you have this your modem looks ok, but you just lose some connections few times per week.

I suspected it has to do with the internet connection, but I wasn't really sure. Thank you very much!! Did you call your provider to solve it or they solved it after some time? If you have any more information about the problem I will really appreciate it!
Thanks again :)
