Hi there!

I think "MSN Messenger Handle" should be removed from contact informations in profile.
I propose to add the steam and google hangouts there.

Regards,

You like sharing everything with the CIA? :)

You obviously do not understand what is going on with that stuff.
First of all, it isn't CIA. Second of all, Google isn't sharing everything. Third of all, Google isn't the only one sharing.

I know... NSA then FBI, CIA, idk name it. all that shit is one big intelligence group.....

But I am actually supriced people are using google, I don't know a single soul who uses it irl.

Guess you haven't seen a single soul in real life.

;d sorry couldn't resist.

But yh. IDC* if anyone knows my shit. I don't see why privacy is such a big issue these days. I mean england is one of the most watched nations in the world. CCTV everywhere - yet we don't really care. So if you have nothing to hide on what you're searching/chatting online about then why have an issue.

Unless you are all columbian drug barons/cartels/terrorists/underworld mob boss... There is not an issue.

I don't know about you but I don't have CCTV watching me inside my home, reading my email, texts and calls and I want to keep it this way.

understandable. But i'm just saying there shouldn't be an issue if you're not doing anything wrong. I'm not agreeing it should happen. It's a birth given right to have some privacy. Especially in your own comfort of home.

The problem with the internet and mobile networks is they can't really be "manned" and regulated.. and consequently the small number who use it to arrange criminal activity scaling from petty theft to premeditated attacks against a nation have made it "risk" apparent and therefore authorities want to try and police it by being granted the permission to access this information. Ontop of that, companies gain market research from social trends on social networking sites etc. So, if they had full access to all this data, potentially new technologies, etc will be brought into the global market. There always is an argument for each side. And lately it has been more of a discussion. It's either one or the other though.. And would you be happy to say no and potentially risk innocent people/persons just to preserve some privacy.. Of course, in reality - most people don't give a shit but it isn't easy to make a call like that.

Ontop of that during the london riots, the police used social networking sites and phone networks to monitor activity for key words for meetups/arrangments.
I've kind of grown up with cctv everywhere and quite possibly i've been influenced as such to not really care if i'm watched, behavior is monitored etc. But i do try to be realistic about most things and always look at both arguments.

I agree with what you are saying, but at what cost are you willing to preserve your personal privacy.

Has msn actually been dead & buried yet? ^^

MSN is actually dead, if you try to log into MSN, you will be prompted to download Skype instead of logging in.
You can use your MSN login on Skype too.

I'm not understanding the purpose of this meme, am I saying anything wrong?
Google is indeed not sharing every piece of information about each person registered with them. Google isn't the only one that has to share with NSA; Skype, Microsoft, Facebook are doing it too.

Everybody on the net is sharing some infomartion... just get over it...

Even porn sites do it. D:
