Windows Convert an 8.54 map into a 8.6 map

Hello everyone,

I am working on a RL server and I'm trying to use this map for a VIP land. It says it is an 8.6 but when I go to the map editor it says it need 8.54 dat and spr files to open it, how do I convert it into a 8.6 map so i can use it in my server?

PS: I have searched and everything I cannot find anything

Download Tibia 8.54, install Tibia 8.54. Open the map and when it prompts you for the spr file, locate to it. If you are using RME then once the map has successfully loaded click map (at the top) - properties - client version, and change that to 8.60.

MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A COPY OF YOUR MAP FIRST!

You can end up corrupting the map when converting it, ending up with a completely empty map!

I know this is very late.. 2 years lol.. but what do i do if i end up with an empty map?

If you want to in future, you can always just file > import > browse and find the map > import it, if you import whilst on an 8.6 version and save, then it will be saved as 8.6, helps if you don't want to download the old spr/dat.
