Hello,
I’m considering Dockerizing the SabrehavenServer repository to make it ready-to-run, including all dependencies pre-configured for easy compilation and building. However, I want to ensure there are no copyright issues before proceeding.
The Sabrehaven repository includes the real Tibia map (world.otbm) and possibly other assets. From what I understand, the map was converted using the Map Editor, which might mean it’s not an exact 1-to-1 copy of the original. Does this still count as copyright infringement?
Additionally, I’m planning to create a Docker container for OTClient with all dependencies included, ready for building. Since OTClient doesn’t include Tibia.spr or Tibia.dat, does that mean it’s free from copyright issues? Or are there other legal concerns I should be aware of?
I’d appreciate any advice or insights on these matters before moving forward with these projects.
Thank you in advance!
