If you have skype open shut it down, because they're on the same ports

Follow these steps:

1. Open CMD prompt

2. type "netstat -a -no" (Without "............")

3. Look for

----Local Address ----Foreign Address----State------PID
"TCP xxx.xxx.xx.x:80 xxx.xxx.xxx.x LISTENING XXXX
-------------------------------------------------

4. Note the PID(XXXX)

5. Open Task Manager

6. Hit the tab Services in Task Manager

7. Search for the corresponding PID in task manager, as in CMD on port :80

8. In Task Manager, right click the service that runs the PID on port :80

9. Right click the Process and hit 'END PROCESS'

10. Restart XAMPP

At the top, hit View, then Select Columns, then hit PID - Process Identifier.

There is a possibility that your antivirus software have a firewall, open ports there, if your antivirus don't have a firewall, go to the Windows Firewall and open the ports there, that's usually the problem everyone has.
