Creat a server "help"

Hello, iam new/ old this this, 6 years last i did something with OT.
Well i can't figure it out; i download a "real map" just the data, but how do i get the exe? i read some guides how to compile but i failed..

Simple answer would be great!

Thanks i will try that windows guide now, i used " The Great Compiling Tutorial (Windows) " before.
If i want a real map can i change it some how ? i got tfs to work.

You need either change the map in world/ folder or the datapack data/

always bugs for me when i do that.. or never work. What happen to just download a completed real map and change ip and go ?

You always need a Distro and a datapack to run a server, The datapack can be real map and the distro is the "Engine" ".exe" of it Can be downloaded in "Distributions"

So i can download a distro that works with my rl map and just drag it over ? just can't be that easy hehe

already done that, thanks anyway. btw thats how i got TFS server running with working uniform server.

Yes, and then u change the datapack to a 8.54 datapack or if you want other like 8.60 you need to run a 8.60 Distro.
