create character problem

since i made my website demonot.hopto.org when a player creat a character it starts level 1 i want it to start level 8
and in my config.lua it is set 8

Edit samples in database?

yeah like Hanover said... go to database then edit Sorc/druid/paladin/knight sample... edit the lvls, hp, mana and such
