I've been searching the forums and trouble shooting and trying to learn how to do this but I guess before I continue I should ask a pretty important question to what I want to accomplish..

Instead of making an OT Server. Is there any way possible (or is there a file or something) that can re-route Tibia to a desktop-based server client?

Like, download a certain version of the Official Tibia + files, maps, etc. and then just log into it and play it "offline" without any changes to the actual game itself. If anything, there would only be like 1 other person playing at the same time. I looked around and I don't see anything about it so I figured I'd ask.

Thanks all.

You can set your server up locally (to localhost 127.0.0.1) and play it 'offline' or use your ipv4 address and use like 'hamachi' to play it together with your friend in 'offline' mode.

Ah, gotcha okay. So I basically still need to learn how to create an OT server then. Crap. Lol.

Thanks for the response.

Okay... so I managed to get a 9.10 server going. No idea where the heck it spawns you at.. I assume it's not the official map for 9.10 and I don't see it anywhere on these forums.. do I just drag the map from tibia into server folder?
