Currently gettin pinged by Ryan (Narozia team) REP++

Hello everyone, i'm using a good firewall for my server, and it also blocks the packets i'm receiving by the Pingers, the owner of the Narozia server who is saying that i'm using his server (everyone is doing that).

And i wanna know, his packet is getting blocked as my firewall is saying.. i also added the IPs to my blocklist .. but still gettin pinged.

I want to know how to make so they cant ping me, i hate this noob Ryan mdafka. So if you give a good firewall that blocks the ping packets automatic would be good.

First of all.

Report the pings/DDos Attacks to your ISP (internet service provider). Most likely they will need the ips and then from there they can track him and do something about it.

Players could log out because of lack of internet. (kicks/lags)

Get a good router with a hardware firewall, most of them have the option to completely block/ignore pings so that pings are ignored and not responded, thus it will not affect your server.

Also, what OS do you have on the server PC? If you have Vista then i think its possible to configure windows/windows firewall to block ping requests.
(Not sure if said thing works on XP, since i have no way of testing it)

mostly DoS not using icmp echo requests it's more advenced script to do that (not ryan) propably ryan is using UDP flood or SYN flood.

Should be banned from all OT sites. OTland, OTfans etc. He is just making trouble in the Opentibia community.
