I have been working on a custom map 7.4 server and I currently got working npcs hunts quests etc.
There is no story line there yet but its still a pretty much playable server for some highrate wondering if the people of otland would be interested in

I got systems like tasks crafting or item rarities along with some custom pvp enhancements such as buffs, pushing players on stairs(not into teleports) (maybe will add also in fields to make it spicy and chameleon rune that completely hides player from battle and name from game window (have to look at player to actually see if its item or player no need for dual floor traps)

I have server running in private beta so if anyone would like to try it you can dm me and I can create an account for you.

I like the shape and all the rivers on the "mainland". Would be nice to see some ingame screenshots or just pictures from the spawns/cities from the map editor.

the map is called emerald city from other project of course the map was very very minimalistic i copied tons of stuff from other maps to fill underground etc. and the greenery

as u can see the map has loads of greenery filled with spawns my main idea is that before u even get to any resp u can still hunt animals such as wolfs bears because the map is so huge it lacked the experience gain while walking long distances (boats are extremely far spread)
so im filling gaps with large spawns of enormous amount of monsters so that people will be able to explore it without lacking progressing :)

Idea is that there will be few major points(ways) to make money e.g whether its something along rashid quest with cheese where u have to get items from a to b without using boats on main continents making money + exp while other players intercepting package being able to deliver it to the thieves guild which will reward /2 of the original task reward or something havent worked it out yet.
 
That map looks awesome. But I feel that numerous giant cities is a huge mistake that reduce player interation and makes the playbase feels that they are playing a single player game. And that even if you have a decent number of players, which is already hard as a custom map server.

thats why the plan is to release only first part of the elary and woodlow for server start and then gradually introduce captains to other maps and allow players to explore more. making it dense packed at start with limited amount of places players can wander while also the surface monsters spawns being large and spawning quick enough not to have players strain themselves running too far ;) but thats for the lowrate version if it ever comes. I believe the highrate will have way more fun to it. especially with all the new pvp systems

also emerald city caver camp for example have no direct boat to city so :) there is balance between everything you cant reach some cities without wlaking to them

2. Risk vs. Reward Travel: Boats are available for crossing between main continents, but they are deliberately expensive to discourage spammy, low-cost travel like in normal Tibia. Sailing thousands of squares for just 100 gold? That's out. In Lushland Oasis v3, boats are a privilege, not a cheap convenience. Use them wisely or get ready to walk!



Carpet Travel: A Soulful Journey

Carpets will add a unique twist to long-distance travel. Unlike boats, they won't be easy to access or use. Here's how they’ll work:

Unlockable Checkpoints: Players must first discover and unlock a carpet checkpoint through exploration, turning travel into an adventure.

No Aladdin-Level Freebies: Flying carpets are no cheap thrill! They’ll require significant resources to use—whether gold or something even more valuable (like soul points or rare items).


By implementing these changes, we're creating a world where travel has weight and meaning. Decisions like "Should I save gold and risk PvP on foot?" or "Do I burn a rare resource to fly safely?" will add depth to gameplay.
