Ddos protection [On Nginx for Debian 5]

Does someone know if there is any kind of protection for dos or ddos,
just something which is kinda the same like that?

I am using debian 5
and using Nginx

Must be an UDP flood, there isn't much you can do to prevent being attacked by the botnet unless your host is interested in filtering out the traffic somehow

nothing we can do to help here. you must find a way to stop botnets yourself, with the help of your ISP/host provider
