Hello. I have question about Debian 5.0 Stable with 64 bit system

I have to compile Dev 0.4 (trunk.r3777) to 64 bit mode? or on Linux is it automatic?


I dont found information about this on forum and on google . ( only something about Windows but nothing about linux)
