Linux Dedicated Server good enough to host real Map Server?

is good for hosting Real Map Server or a Custom Map size 30-60MB with around 400-600 Players.

Wan't to use Linux but if its possible Windows.

Yes 6+ if your going to use a real map with all things required.

But 1.8 GHz sounds abit low to me? Anyone else?
