The marketplace is closed because people where selling datapacks with TFS included. I dont sell TFS. And if you are bashing here why dont you go to all the OTs that ask for donations and are download-n-run server?

If you have nothing productive to say, please leave before a moderator closes the thread or gives us an infraction for all of this fighting. This service fits the rules of OTLand, if it did not it would have been deleted. And trust me the mods know about it as I asked them to change the title by reporting my own post.

That is the way business is done all over the world. You are a manufacturer. I then resell your products or I use them in my own business. I see no problem in offering a service based on those resources. It would be different if he was selling the resource itself.

Personally I have no problem with it and will most likely hire several persons in the near future to work on an OT project

Couldn't be said better. I can't understand, why people are still complaining if someone comes up with service of compiling/writing or doing anything for cash.

So basically you are saying, that he should either cancel his services, or do it for free? Like @dominique120 said earlier his services are like washing car, not getting a car for free, from someone and selling it. He's making money from his own resources - his knowledge, so don't say that kind of bullshit, because that's how capitalism works - if you don't know how to/don't want to do something you pay another person to do it for you - wake up and deal with it. If someone is tutorial-proof/lazy/whatever it's not dominique's problem.

I recommend his services he helped me out a lot. I not a dumb person but some things are harder than others, for instance for a Linux vps yea there are some tuts on it but also hard to find things in the code. I was more than happy enough to pay for his services and he was happy enough to give out his knowledge for free. at the moment he is setting up the server for me unfortunately the vps I had did not have enough ram and iv had to upgrade. Thank you Dominique for your help and service.
