My point being, one can use premium accounts if used correctly, to easily gain the money necessary for a dedicated host and beyond.

There are no need for items, gold or exp. Just see Mastercores. The server itself was rather much a failure but one thing Erik did right, was the donation system.

Everyone (well almost) had golden account due to how much it improved your gameplay without actually making anything OP.
