I'll update this first post when I got a new screen of my works.

I guess I'm getting better with the nature thins too, But I used RME for this piece and I can't really find the grass decorations for it, is there someone who can tell me where they are in RME v2.0? Thnx.

Edit: Added some new pictures.
Edit1: New Picture added on the last page, I will update my last posts when I've got updates, so for my latest mapping works go to the last post.

Comments are welcome, but please dont flame me. If it's bad, please say why and help me to get more skilled.

Regards,
Dragonecri

For a first not bad at all!

Keep on mapping and stay with your own style! Which seems to be RPG to me;)
Try to map most with RAW, which means work tile for tile and do every border by hand, not with any brush!

Try RME as well. The sprites are better organized. And check out some tutorials:)

Thx for the Comment =D
I hope I will get better soon so I can improve the map piece =D
Edit: Eh, I got a bit of a problem when I open this map (.otbm file) with RME (v2), it says it's a unsupported client version while it's the same .dat file :/ Any1 who can help me to fix it?

don't be rude guy, he's a beginner I've seen much worse things like that for a beginner so it's okay, you can add some details more and some natur not only some trees

Try to add some deco on the grass (tufts, stones, bushes, some stoneground)
else it looks... empty

Much better, now all you got to do is look a bit around in the mapping section to see what kind of decorations fits nice to your place ;)

Yeah and what if I want my own style? And not something what's just copied of others?

I can't see why you're acting like a jerk - Not even your mapping is perfect. Just because you might be better than him, as he is new to it, does it not give you the right to do such thing. Furthermore, your post is spam in my eyes.
If you dare then tell me how your mapping was when you just opened the editor. Most likely, bad.

Ontopic; Try to decorate the areas a bit :) At the second screenshot I can see you have tried but a little more wouldn't hurt :) Good luck!

@up
Thx for the comment/advise

Ontopic:
Updated the first post with the newest version! I guess this is the last version so I can make a new one. =D
Get kinda bored of this one.

Well, the newest version looks much better than the first.
I just don't get the sense of those colourful roses and the crane but the rest looks nice for your first try.
Like Mycos said you could try to add some bushes, not too much trees, some grasstufts, some (small) stones and also mountain grounds. You could try to use RME 2.0 (mostly the raw-palette)
If you get an error like this unsupported client version (8), try to open your map again with SimOne (maybe with an older version, but then you've to add the bridge again) and save it again. It should work with RME then.

If this really was your first try with a map-editor then you've got a talent for mapping if you improve it everyday :p

@up,
Thx, and yeah it was my first try after I road a tutorial how to use simones lol, I think I will change to RME since it looks wonderful.

Ontopic: I will come with more map pieces when I've got time for it. =D

Sure sure..
Still, you will learn by watching. Check our ideas, how we hide bugs, detail, see patterns. Like anything. Thing that'd take you years to learn all solo.
Mappers usually share some things together from forums which has been shared around for.. past.. 6-7? years.
