duping crystal coins

Im having issues with people dupeing crystal coins.. i dont have a in game guild system my website is protected. Seems like i cant stop them and i dont have a solution its ruining my server ineed of some seriouse help

How are they duping it? Only way I can think of people gaining lots of money is:

1. "crashing the serer"
2 . They found a bug in an NPC where you can sell things for a lot of money.
3. Player can buy an item from NPC for X amout and can sell it back to NPC for X+100 amount. (as example)
Like npc sells mace for 30gp and and you sell it back to npc for 3000gp so players will continuoulsy buy and re-sell the item.

Just a few guesses... maybe they can help you.

Well im on a dedicated aerver and it seema as if they are crashing it it happens like once a day and i know its not my server but i checked all the npcs and stuff

Should do sonething more with my firewall or something i mean i cant figure this out

They could buy aol for 1 cc and sell back for 40k that might be the issue lok

Do you give crystal coins as a reward when players gain a level?

No they only get 1cc to start with should i make it 100 plats?

But im guessing it was they would use the !aol to buy a aol and it sells for 10k but then found a npc to sell back to and gain 45k

If there's any way for players to buy something cheap and sell it to an NPC for a lot more, they will find it, and some will do it. A lot.
Ditto if new characters get alot of money, but it can be sent to another character (they'll make new characters over and over until they have lots of cash).

Neither of those are duping though. They're design errors
