Eclipse Map Editing

Hiya,

I've finally got Eclipse real map online took me a really long time because I kept getting errors when I wanted to upload the sql file.

But my question is. I can play the real map now and it works fine. but how can I edit the map? I'm not sure if I have to you Remeres or Simones map editor. and I don't know what file I have to import, my server is running on client version 8.22

Well, you can use Remere's MapEditor (The latest, it's 8.20 -- Works with 8.22)

Also, you can use SimOne's... (But you need the 8.22)

Ya But The Problem is when I try to open the file with Remere's Map Editor Version 1.0.8. It Says: Map Imported Succesfully, 8683720 tiles were discarded as invalid That is my problem and I Don't really know how to fix it....

Either you use the wrong MapEditor or Opening a 8.10/8.11 server in a 8.20 MapEditor.

First of all Thanks Neon.
I followed your advice and used Simone's Map Editor I get an error message now, I think that might be the reason the rest of the map is black.

The Error Message says:
Could not open the file
Failed to unserialize an object.
Position[x: 1767, y: 1226, z:15]
item: 1287
code: 1654

well I went to that part and I see a few stones and I don't know how to get that error message away.
