executing server

ok so i have it compiled in linux but i cant figure out how to launch the server i have everything configured the way i want it and im being told to use ./theforgottenserver while im in the directory of the trunk this is what im getting

Root@Aibitot:/home/main/Desktop/Serverfolder/trunk# ./theforgottenserver
bash: ./theforgottenserver: no such file or directory


can anyone help me out

have you checked that the name of the compiled file is theforgottenserver? (Caps etc.)

i have theres no theforgottenserver in there cept under dev-cpp this is my first time so im following tutorials but nothings helping

those 2 morso the first one for the compiling second was just for putty so i can do comand line from my computer without logging in remotly
