Suggestion Feedback on applications

Hello,
I was wondering if the person who checks the applications to become a staff member here could perhaps give reasons for why they have not been accepted?

I read about this suggestion in the actual thread that states the new moderators etc.
I would just like to know why I was not accepted and I'm sure others do also.

I understand that administrators may not have enough time, but it would be reassuring to know that you have even read our applications.

We have read all your applications more than once and chosen best candidates. If you are not 'the chosen one' it doesn't mean you were bad. It means that according to secret criteria that only administrator knows, there were better candidates. We wanted only a few best candidates, not everyone that was good.

I understand that and im not saying everyone should be picked or everyones was good.
I was suggesting telling the candidates what they have done 'incorrect' or why they wern't chosen.

Also understand, if you were not chosen in the first round, your application has not been "denied", but it has been archived and if the case arises that we need a few more moderators, the new moderators will be chosen from the best of the archived applications.

It will would be nice to have a response from the staff of any kind, even a simple thanks in the thread. The moderators (as it seems) didn't even know they were moderators when they got chosen. Like a new a moderator said:

I think they should have taken the time to give feedback, but I'm not surprised. I didn't even get a private message or notification that I was made a moderator xD.

if you wern't chosen this time, theres always room for another chance, Just stay put, and wait till the next one comes, maybe they we're full on mods and you might be chosen for the next one, maybe your application didn't fit the critera, and the administrators we're looking for specific members for the roles.
