I've started playing league again, and want to practice the mechanical aspects of the game, so I don't hinder my progress into the game by being sloppy at the basics.

My overall goal is to become an expert in the mechanical aspects of the game, so I can start learning how to play individual champs more effectively.

While I do not believe I am terrible at the game, I definitely know my mechanical play of the game is not where I want it to be.

I have never played a ranked match as of yet, but if I were to guess, my current skill level is mid silver.

Below will be spoilers containing information.
If you can think of other mechanical aspects for me to work on, please let me know!

In first 10 minutes of game..
Goal: 100 ks. (against bots) -- I heard 100 is "pro" at 10 minutes in game.
Current: ??? -- (haven't started yet.)

Before starting to train; I think I'm around 60-70 ks in first 10 minutes. (regular games)

Intending to go in baby steps to learn some basic skills.. instead of doing terrible in a regular match-up and not learning anything.

Below is my game plan to try to learn how to ks more effectively.
Please tell me if I'm wasting my time or not.

Create custom games, at 10 minutes note down my ks progress, rinse repeat.
Goal = 90+ ks's 3 games in a row with no runes/masteries/items.

1. Create a benchmark of where I am right now.
-> Custom game, 4 bots my team, 5 bots other team, last hitting using skills + auto attacks while facing a regular bot game, intermediate.

2. Start heading for goal with no bots in-game.
-> Using only auto attacks, reach goal.

3. Same as above, but while actively moving around.
-> Using only auto attacks, reach goal.

4. Still no bots, but force myself to check the map every 10 seconds while last hitting.
-> Using only auto attacks, reach goal.
-> Using skills + auto attacks, reach goal.

5. Start using a single bot, but not pushing the bot out of lane. (allowed to use items)
-> Using skills + auto attacks, reach goal

6. Learning how to push/freeze a lane. (include 1 bot.) (allowed to use items)
-> Using skills + auto attacks, reach goal

7. ?? Start doing regular games

If you never played a ranked game yet, and your cs is ~70 at 10 min. That isn't bad. Most bronzies have like ~40.

Ive also done this "training" in the past and it works well.

Good luck,

Edit: Did one session to see how much I got with skills and AA and it was 85 at 10 min.

I've been playing 90% support, so I haven't had any real practice csing really.
I want to try out Lissandra for mid/top, but. lol

Watching the possible gold income just disappear is a little depressing. :p

Depending on what you're trying to achieve with league of legends, keep in mind that it's just a game and don't let it go over your head and you'll go far.

Current Long-Term goals

Buy..
-> Every champion
-> 9x of each tier 3 rune. (3x for quints)

Play each champion to at least Red Flag mastery.

After that, not entirely sure where I want to go with it.

 :D

Back in the days I used to play support and you shouldn't really focus on minions at all, only just hitting them a little sometimes to help your adc to last hit. Play simple characters as support like, Thresh or Soraka.

Hence why I don't have much practice with last hitting :c
While support is fun, I'm often stuck baby-sitting the adc later on after the laning phase so they don't feed the other team. :p
(Then getting raged at in chat when I miss my skill-shot 1/50 times. :()

I don't want to play support 100% of the time, so I'm wanting to learn the basics/mechanical aspects of the game I've been missing out on, while playing support.

On that note, besides last hitting.. is there anything else mechanical I can/should be working on?

Lulz don't do the same mistake as I, played support all the time nothing else for 6 years straight and I rencently started to play Top/Jungle/Mid and my farming is terrible.

Well, build good items I often play AP(if the champion is Ability power) and tanky, and if your adc is (or other roles) is about to die just jump in and try to make them chase you instead of the other person and never leave your adc behind.

my fav role is support i dont have to worry about csing or jungle you cant mess up csing in jungle since u dont have to last hit

Rule 1) ward
Rule 2) make sure you know where their jg is
Rule 3) Build items based for your champ
Rule 4) Your team has to be good too
Rule 5) Always make counter plays. (if you see their mid going bot do something about it
Rule 6) Smart ping
Rule 7) CS hard
Rule 8) Never go ham never fight unless its obvious you will win
Rule 9) Keep an eye on the enemies team cooldowns and your teams (especially their ultimates)
Rule 10) Dont over extend (unless your team is winning hard)
Rule 11) Even if your not jg you can still jg mid game
Rule 12) Counter enemies build/champs with your build
Rule 13) Making the enemy go back to base is just as good as killing them (again dont go ham)
Rule 14) Dont allow free towers, drags, ect.
Rule 15) Try to not just push one lane. After killing ur tower go to another lane to help them get theirs down.
