First items??

Hey Guys , I've got a 8.54 Demonic Server. but when you create a character on my website and then log in, for example you created a sorcerer. You log in and your Equipment is a club , Jacket, Torch and a bag.

I found firstitems.lua in Creaturescripts\scripts

ofc with more vocations, but you see i've changed in the first vocation wich is sorcerer to 2190 wich is Wand of vortex. i tried to restart the server and create a new char but nothing happend. Any ideas of how i change the Starting items? Please help me and explain detailed, examples will help me alot. thanks.
